history:
- Sun was born in 1700 during the Joseon dynasty. He was born illegitimate, but was recognized by his noble father when he was ten years old. Thanks to King Sukjong's reforms, Sun was allowed to pursue a government position despite his lowly birth.
- he did his best but all he could manage was a police officer position, u go sun
- he turned into a vampire when he was twenty-five, just a few weeks after he entered the police bureau
- the vampire who turned him was a very beautiful gisaeng who thought sun was cute if not a little dumb which turned her off at first. but the gisaeng was involved in a brutal fight with another vampire, so she was in desperate need for some manpower and sun was literally Right there so she turned him
- sun panicked and cried a lot
- but he immediately got over it in order to help his sire fight the other vampire
- fighting rogue/bad vampires gave sun the purpose he was always looking for
- cue years of fighting under the tutelage of his sire and then on his own once he came into his own vampire-ness
- did a little bit of traveling, but always came back to korea/s.korea
- cue 20XX, where sun meets his baby brother xiuren i mean baby vampire
- sun caught wind of the murders xiuren was committing and immediately decided to Fight the Bad Vampire, but instead of finding the evil murderous vampire he was used to seeing, he sees a clearly confused vampire
- sun's used to seeing new vampires, but never a new vampire that's already inherited all of their sire's powers and who's been enslaved for so long under the sire bond
- managed to calm xiuren down without getting anyone else hurt
- seeing xiuren so alone and confused immediately convinced sun to help him
- establishes himself as xiuren's vampire teacher!!!
- slowly and surely he gets to know xiuren better
- is super fond of his vampire dongsang
- but also like
- there are times when xiuren unnerves him
- and sun is privately still worried about xiuren, and wonders what else he could possibly do to help
- but is there anything really to help with, or should he just accept xiuren as who he is instead of trying to fix him

personality:
- sun is that really nice neighborhood policeman that says hello to you every morning and also enthusiastically pets your dog
- who is also a vampire
- all of sun's vampire acquaintances think that sun is the last person who should be a vampire
- he's just a genuinely friendly guy. he was born a nice person!!! and years of seeing humanity at its lowest hasn't really done anything to change that (also helps that he's seen so many good things happen as well)
- it helps that being a vampire has given sun a role to play, a place in the world that he now feels he belongs to unlike when he was just an illegitimate son
- feels as if the world accepted him better as a vampire than it did when he was human
- he likes humans a lot!!!
- he wishes he had more vampire friends. every vampire he runs into always inevitably leaves him on his lonesome. ;-; when will his chingoos he met twenty years ago come back
- a part of the reason why he accepted xiuren since having him around will ease his own loneliness, uhuhuhu CHINGOO-YAH ^o^
- he loves emoticons
- he loves vlogging??? he probably owns a youtube account and everything on it is him and xiuren's vlogging adventures

powers:
- sun has no special powers bc his sire's still alive (HE MISSES HER TOO BUT SHE NEVER CALLS HIM.... WHAT A BAD MOM)
- he has the regular vampire powers tho like heightened physical abilities and senses
- the most special part about him is really all the experience he's gathered
